The choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:00am beginning in September

First Friday Coffeehouse featuring acoustic music at 7:30 PM the first Fridays during October-June. The public is invited.

Watch for announcement of organ concerts, piano recitals, flute concerts, chamber music and much more.

Accompanying the Choir and Sunday Worship is Derek Schaible, a freshman at Idaho State University in a dual-major of Music Education and Piano Performance. Derek is an Idaho Falls native whose family has been involved with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship there. Derek learned about our job from an advert posted in the College of Business building. Derek told us that he showed interest in music as a child so his mother supported lessons for him. In addition to piano skills, Derek also plays violin in the Idaho Civic Symphony. Please take time to introduce yourself to Derek and welcome him into our congregation. Don’t be surprised if you discover Derek learning to play our 1914 Estey pipe organ.

The organ underwent extensive renovation in 1991. The work was completed by Frans W.M. Bosman & Associates of Mosier, Oregon. Frans Bosman continues to maintain the instrument today. The organ has 22-ranks.

September 2006: Our former Choir Director, Angela Macke, pictured right, is standing down from her role with us as she completes her senior recital and her senior year as a Music Education major at Idaho State University. We'll share information on Angela's recital and other performances that she and partner Jennifer Wallace invite us to attend!
